My interest in theater began in high school when I started taking private acting lessons. In college,  I double majored in Journalism and Theater.  From stage make-up to directing to acting I learned about all the different areas that work together to make a production come to life.  After college I did promotional work as well.  As life goes, I entered the workforce, got married,  rescued many animals and had 2 wonderful sons.
My sons have participated in Tina’s classes and productions since 2019.  Over these past 3 years they have gained confidence, learned about teamwork, how to adapt on stage and so much more.  As my kids kept with their interest in theater, my involvement with their classes and performances have increased.  I am blessed to spend this time with my children, but also enjoy helping to teach other kids as well.
I have worked with students 5-16 years of age in Tina’s homeschool co-op classes and in her after school program in Lithopolis, OH.  In these classes, I help kids gain a better understanding of stage business and how to be believable on stage. I have, specifically, worked with children on character development and motivation for movement,  expression and timing of lines,  singing and tempo,  and choreography.  I also have experience in stage management in both class and full scale productions.
Additionally,  theater requires one to be a team player!  So, you will not be surprised if you see me on stage helping fill a role as I did acting as “Elephant” in “Elephant & Piggie ( or was it “Piggie?”).

Now, as a teacher for MOTWP, I am excited to bring your children the same positive experiences and learning opportunities that my children have had for the past 3 years.
